As one of the top Rotax pilots in the world, Formal secured a spot on Team USA via his third place result at the 2010 United States Rotax Grand Nationals. From there, the talent when on to score an impressive fifth place finish at the 2010 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in La Conca, Italy. In 2011, Formal claimed the third place in the Florida Winter Tour Rotax Senior championship, and now has his sights set on the Pan American Challenge Finale event in just a few weeks time. As his last chance to secure a spot on Team USA for the 2011 edition of the Rotax World Finals, the 16-year-old pilot is determined to put his MRP Motorsport prepared Birel chassis at the front of the field.

“I only have a couple of events left this year but my main focus will be on the Rotax Pan Am,” continued Formal. “I really want to return to the Rotax Grand Finals as I had a great time last year in Italy.”
